Welcome to Silesia Guitars, the guitar repair shop in Shoreline that is dedicated to taking good care of your dear friend, the guitar. We are located in Shoreline, just 15 min north of downtown Seattle. Our work consists of repairs of anything from broken headstocks and cracked guitar tops, through replacing/installing electronics and custom inlays. Just need a set up or a string change? No problem! We try to accommodate any needs, big or small. Usually, the cheaper the guitar, the more it would benefit from being professionally set up. Evaluations are free, so stop by with your guitar today and let's talk about how we can help you get the most out of it!

We also offer guitar/bass and vocal lessons for all levels and ages. Ask us about our teachers, they are eager to share their skills.

Please not our special summer hours in the Contact us section.

Amp and electronics repair

We have teamed up with Auralsphere Electronics, which means that you can now also drop off any tube/solid state amps, pedals, mixers, or any other music related electronic gear for repair at our location, and Hodgy will fix it for you!

Hodgy started working as an electronics repair technician in 1993, after graduating froKirkwood Community College’s Electronics program (Cedar Rapids, IA). He put many years under his belt as a tech in manufacturing environments before going to work with the ‘Triage’ repair team at Loud Technologies, focusing on the Ampeg, Crate, and Mackie brands. In addition to ‘fixing stuff’, Hodgy is a veteran bass player, guitarist, singer, songwriter, engineer, and recording enthusiast- with several albums to his credit. As a musician himself, he understands the importance of your gear and will get you back up and running with care and precision.

When he’s not inhaling solder fumes, Hodgy can be found performing with local bands Charlie Drown, Devil’s Food, and Buttafüko.
